How create XVCD with menus?

I've just put together a video CD using Pinnacle Studio 8, and the quality is about what you would expect. My DVD player (a Sony DVP-NS315) can play XVCDs (but not SVCDs) but Studio doesn't have an option to create an XVCD. I can export to an AVI and follow the instructions on dvdrhelp for creating an XVCD, but then I lose my menu.
