TRANSFER MPEGS TO CRD FOR DVD PLAY

Hi, I want to play MPEGS on my DVD player (which supports MPEG playback). However, when transferring my MPEGs to a CDR a folder is created for the MPEG files. WHen I place the CDR in my DVD player, it ejects the CDR because it can't find the MPEG files because they're inside a folder. How can I transfer just the MPEG files onto the CDR without causing a folder to be created?
